Applying for a place at Eversholt Lower School

The school admission arrangements are coordinated through Central Bedfordshire Council.

For those starting school, we have three intakes a year in September, January and April.

Children can join the school in the January or April intake after their 4th birthday. Children joining in January & April go into Star class as Nursery Pupils.

Reception Class starts formerly in the September after your child’s 5th Birthday with the start of each school year.

You apply for a place at Eversholt through Central Bedfordshire Councils admission process (http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/education-and-learning/schools/admissions/default.aspx). You will need to apply for a place at the school by a specific deadline set by Central Beds usually in the middle of the January before your child starts school in September

Admission criteria to Eversholt Lower School follow the Central Beds guidelines.

For Nursery places in January or April you will need to apply directly to the School. Please note that granting of a nursery place at the school does not automatically mean entry to Reception in the September.

We welcome and would encourage early registration of your child with us before the formal admission and application process. It helps us plan and enables us to have effective communication with you in the years before your child join the school.
